Last day of sailing
September 16, 2006
Sunny, chilly fall day. It's the last day of sailing this year...
The trip back to the winter site is narrow at times.
-Make sure you follow all the red & green poles...!
starting the engine winter preservation
narrow, narrow Nordströmmarna
Dad, serving up some tea along our way.
Around one of the corners, T/S Britta appears.
Proud skipper. [the sails all look great]
Drying the sails so we can pack them away when we get home.
Nötesundsbron (The Nut Sound Bridge? :-)
Catching a glimpse of Sunningebron
high-tech auto pilot :-)
A glimpse of our farm and its surroundings. Also the site for my morning swims.
Deep in the industrial harbor...
...is where we moor and start removing equipment.
removing the furling sails
...and folding them up for storage.
A first good load of stuff.
Dinner at my sister's summer house it perfect after a day out boating.
Yummy pork chops
Olof drops a giant set of pickup sticks...
...and we start poking at it. Simple fun :-)
