On this Saturday in late March, I hopped over to SF to check out Javier and Mariel's - and Eithne's - new home!
My East Bay day started with alternating showers and sunshine every five minutes.
Gotta get a change of scenery.
After preparing a picnic lunch, I head over to the Inner Sunset district of San Francisco.
Pretty much anyone who lives here can brag about sweeping views of the Pacific.
Not to mention Marin Headlands, and the Golden Gate!
-And it just so happens, that I have a couple of very good friends over here!
As of today (!) they live on the prettiest street of them all (note: no power lines!)
This gem overlooks Lower Sunset, as well as a blossoming back yard.
Anyway, we start out having that picnic lunch.
With your life packed into 150 boxes, you can't quite cook like you're used to.

The garden offers lots of exploring.
I eventually hop in my car to head back...and they head out, down the street - off to explore a new world.
..and their old house in Richmond is now for sale!
