...so I rode Claremont up to Grizzly Peak to check out the snow. None. Zilch.
-But looking east, I could clearly see the snowy Sierr....Mt Diablo?!
Since it snows here once every 10 years or so, I dropped down into Orinda, went through Lafayette, to Walnut Creek.
And this shot is just something out of the ordinary...
Approaching Mt Diablo, it seems like the interest in Bay Area snow is quite....huge.
Coming in from the north is a pretty ride.
Still no snow. But as I climb higher...
...I strike gold!
At the end of the day, it's not your ordinary East Bay ride!
