A few busy days
August 12, 2006

For a few days, I join in on Christine's busy schedule...

It's crayfish party season. Sofia snaps a good shot of Cessie.

There's beer, liquor, bread, cheese, potatoes, salads...and crayfish and plenty of good mood!

Party organizer Marie, with me and Christine.

One afternoon, we board a ferry out to Donsö, one of the many islands outside Gothenburg.

visiting some relatives of Christine's

Uncles and grandparents for dinner!

Sissel is showing off her yummy super-low-calorie blackberry cheese cake.

Catchnig up on work stuff wherever there's an internet connection...

Christine and her grandpa.

Heading back down to the harbor...

...to board their powerboat for a ride back to Gothenburg.

On a Sunday, we drive down to Halmstad to visit Christine's maternal grandparents.
Where there's a visit in Sweden, there's always a "fika".

Granddad is giving the garden tour.

This is actually tobacco.

Christine, yet again stealing an internet connection...

I also join Christine for her trip to the Electrolux headquartes in Stockholm.

They've been around for a very long time...

This is my dad's Electrolux kitchen aid from the 40's. Still going strong!

I can tell I'm back in Sweden! (daring ad at a bus stop)
