Day cruise on T/S Britta
July 16, 2005
Audrey and got the opportunity to board the tall ship T/S Britta for a day on the fjords outside Uddevalla.
The sky looked threatening, and we also had some heavy rain at times. But the day was mostly sunny and warm.
On our way out, my dad is informing the passengers on how to sail, where we're going, etc.
we all help out setting the sails
It's not raining on us now, but we do see a good downpour heading our way .
Seconds later, we got good use of our rain gear.

David also came along today, however releived from sailing duties.
Again, the day was mostly sunny and hot. That's the beauty of Swedish summers - you can have it all in one day.
Our chefs are working the lunch.

I prepare a rope for quick release - we're abot to take the sails down.
The man sail is large and requires many helping hands.
