Rockridge move
April 3, 2004

It's a beautiful day in Fremont.

Today is also the moving day!

Treasurous help from Eugene, Kevin, Valerie and Erik.

We managed to squeeze piles of stuff...

...into a 14 foot truck!

Look what we found under my dresser.
[the webcam server]

The trip goes north north...

...to my new Rockridge home.

Boxes are mark by the room they're going into.

It sure is a nice day in Rockridge too.

Jane, Jeff, and Sandrine gave me good help getting that stuff unloaded.

Tricky one...

...but I'm still looking forward to moving Christof's and Imola's piano to San Ramon next week!

Ahh, the truck is empty!

...the new housemates look happy..

...and the place is now a complete mess!

Yee-hah...this will in some way become a study...

...where you can read a book and enjoy a view of the garden.

The compulsory Mover's Pizza.

This time from Zachary's, just a few blocks up the street.

To enjoy a fine evening, we head out for a walk in downtown Berkeley.

We gather up by the Golden Bears...

...to take in the sunset.

The Memorial Stadium.

On our way up Panoramic, we stopped by Jan (who now lives in my old apartment).

That same spectacular view is still there, every day, every night.

Later on, me & Erik went on to a game night at Freddy's in Dublin.

Erik, me (yes,a bit tired by now...), Rose

We spent four hours on 'Mü', a good fun German strategy card game.
Erik beat us all hands down.
